Dr. Patsy Daniels is a native of North Carolina and grew up in a small town near Winston-Salem. She attended college at NC State University where she graduated magna cum laude in Biological Sciences. She received her Medical Doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following medical school she completed her internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Daniels is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Daniels returned to Raleigh to begin her career as a Family Physician for a community health center where she worked for three years. She then decided to open her own office in North Raleigh in 1989 and had been in solo private practice for 20 years. In 2009 Dr. Daniels expanded her practice and is now joined by Dr. Martha Peck.
While in college, Dr. Daniels married her husband and has been married for over 30 years. She and her husband love the NC coast and enjoy boating and windsurfing.
Dr. Martha Peck was born in Greensboro and has lived most of her life in North Carolina. She has experience in the pharmaceutical industry in drug development and served as Executive Director and Vice President for almost 20 years at a local private foundation that supports medical research and science education. Dr. Peck graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at UNC-CH, a program that consistently ranks among the top three institutions in the US for training in family medicine. She is an adjunct faculty member of the UNC Department of Family Medicine. She also holds B.S. and Masters degrees in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Dr Peck is board certified in Family Medicine. She has a particular interest in geriatrics, chronic diseases and applying her pharmacy knowledge to appropriate medication prescribing.
Dr. Peck lives in North Raleigh with her husband, Ray, for the past 30 years. She has two adult sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors at both the NC coast and mountains. She has been an active member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church since 1983.
